Equal Opportunity & Diversity

The Office of Workforce Diversity champions a workplace that offers a competitive advantage. The Johns Hopkins Hospital and Health System Corporation have expectations for all employees to foster mutual respect, embrace cultural competency and workforce diversity.  All employees are provided with equal employment opportunities without regard to race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin, marital status, gender identification, sexual orientation, disability, or veteran status.   The Director of the Office of Workforce Diversity and EEO Analyst proactively educates management through a variety of venues and workshops to include New Employee Orientation, New Management Orientation, Management Cohort and employees scheduled through outreach training in areas of EEO, ADA, Affirmative Action, Prevention of Sexual Harassment, Incivility in the Workplace, and Cultural Competency.  Diversity and Workplace Respect training assists employees and managers to improve their abilities to work together as cross generational and multicultural teams. The EEO Analyst or the Director will facilitate and investigate all internal complaints of discrimination or sexual harassment working with employees and management to address each complaint and provide recommendations for resolution.

Our Office of Workforce Diversity is available Monday through Friday and by appointment during any other times of the day/weekend.  Please contact our Director of Workforce Diversity, John Fuller, the EEO Analyst, Rhodora Osborn, or the Staff Assistant, Zina Brown, Phipps 479, at 410-955-3516.  If a staff member is not immediately available, you will receive additional contact instructions.
