Hopkins Carpooling Program

Tired of gas prices?  Tired of commuting to work solo?

Take advantage of Hopkins’ free carpool matching service at www.carpoolworld.com/hopkinsmedicine   

With the cost of gas increasing on a daily basis, now is the perfect time to take advantage of Hopkins' free carpool matching service.

JHHSC/JHH and JHU have established a partnership with Carpoolworld.com (a free public online trip-matching service) to provide staff, faculty, students, etc. with carpooling options during these tough times. Carpooling will help employees save gas and parking money as well as reduce traffic; it also supports Hopkins’ “Going Green” initiative.

The free service allows any employee with a Hopkins-affiliated e-mail address to log on to the system, fill out information about personal commuting needs and then be matched up with other employees having similar needs. After completing the process, the matched individuals make future carpooling arrangements with the person/s of their choice.
