Perdana University School of Medicine

Perdana University

In collaboration with Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Perdana University Graduate School of Medicine (PUGSOM), is a private medical institution located on a 140-acre campus in the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

It is the first graduate school of medicine in the country of Malaysia and offers a four-year doctorate of medicine degree. PUGSOM teaches the Genes to Society curriculum, which was designed and implemented at Johns Hopkins. PUGSOM enrolled its first class of students in September 2011.

In addition to the medical school, Perdana University Hospital (PUH) is a planned multi-specialty teaching hospital that will include a full complement of in-patient services, ambulatory care facilities, diagnostic capabilities and ancillary support services.

The hospital’s design and development is being undertaken in collaboration with Johns Hopkins Medicine International, the international arm of Johns Hopkins Medicine.
