Continuing Medical Education

Each year, thousands of physicians and other health care professionals come to Johns Hopkins to expand skills, gain new knowledge and retrain in everything from new techniques in transplantation to managing the business of medicine.

The Johns Hopkins Office of Continuing Medical Education offers physicians worldwide the opportunity to stay informed on the latest developments in medicine.

Departmental Observerships

Qualified practicing physicians can apply for an observership experience in a clinical department at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. If you are seeking an observership at Johns Hopkins, please contact the department directly. Due to the high number of applicants, the approval process may take several months.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Visits of less than two weeks should be arranged directly with a Johns Hopkins physician
  • Process and requirements vary by department
