Step 2: Send your medical records in English
- Current diagnosis
- Films (X-ray, MRI, CT scan, ultrasound)
- Biopsy results
- Your contact information

Step 3: Receive your appointment confirmation
Your international medical concierge will confirm your appointment shortly after we receive your medical records. We’ll send you a packet with the name of your doctor, the time, date and location of your appointment, and other important information you need to know before traveling.
If you also wish to make medical appointments for a travel companion, please let your international medical concierge know so we can schedule them before finalizing your travel itinerary.
Step 4: Prepare your visa requirements
Once your appointment has been confirmed, your international medical concierge will send an appointment confirmation packet that can be used when you complete your visa application. Let your international medical concierge know if you require a visa letter for your application.
Step 5: Receive a cost estimate and make a deposit
Helpful, knowledgeable financial counselors will assist you with preparing estimates, understanding the bill, providing payments, verifying insurance or embassy coverage and delivering a convenient final bill within 90 days of your visit.
Step 6: Make your travel arrangements
Once your appointment at Johns Hopkins has been confirmed, your international medical concierge will assist you with any transportation and accommodation needs related to your visit.
