Hamed Mustafa, B.A.
Director, Patient Services (Middle East and North Africa)
Hamed Mustafa began his career with JHI in 1997 as an interpreter and has since served in many roles of increasing responsibility, including data and information system coordinator for MENA, senior financial counselor for Patient Financial Services and decision support manager for Global Services.
In his most recent role as senior administrator for business and decision support, Hamed led many critical efforts, including streamlining the daily international patient schedule; mapping, designing and launching JHI’s first daily operations dashboards and departmental dashboards for IMCS, Patient Services, Johns Hopkins USA and Language Access Services; reviewing outside provider utilization of the scheduling system; assisting with contract renegotiation for several external entities, and consolidating estimate systems with the goal of enhanced functionality.
Mr. Mustafa holds a bachelor’s degree in international business from Marymount University, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree from the University of Maryland University College.
