Program Director, Johns Hopkins Medicine Interactive
Mr. Nason directs the development of the telehealth programs for all of Johns Hopkins Medicine, including Johns Hopkins Medicine International. Through this effort, he supports the strategic planning and implementation initiatives for telemedicine, distance education and e-learning activities throughout the entire medical campus.
As a member of the strategic planning group, Mr. Nason evaluates telehealth opportunities both domestically and internationally, as well as consults on telehealth implementations and installations. Successful programs have included a tele-ICU pilot, a tele-translation service, an international tumor board program and over 750 live video-based educational programs. Additionally, he has successfully launched the centralized e-learning platform at Johns Hopkins Medicine to facilitate the distribution of instructionally sound Hopkins content across its enterprise.
Mr. Nason has more than 20 years of health care industry experience in research, political, clinical, academic and consulting environments. He holds master's degrees in both business administration and health administration from the University of Pittsburgh, as well as a bachelor's degree in biology from Tulane University.
