The Institute for Excellence in Education (IEE) and the Office of the Vice Dean for Education of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in collaboration with the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing, the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and the Johns Hopkins University School of Education were pleased to co-sponsor this year's IEE Education Conference and Celebration.
IEE is very proud and excited to bring this annual conference to Hopkins' community of seasoned and budding educators, including many students and trainees. It is specifically designed to provide a venue in which those interested in medical and biomedical education from across the Schools of Medicine, Nursing and Public Health can come together to share ideas, educational research, innovations, and instructional methodologies; to learn from each other and guests, promote a community of educators, and celebrate our great teachers and educators.
The 2016 Education Conference was a Great Success!
The IEE extends heartfelt thanks to all who made this year's conference such a success: Our very dedicated conference planning committee, our wonderful plenary speaker David Irby, PhD, the lunchtime panel, the workshop leaders and teams, the review committees for the IEE Education Awards, and the innovation and scholarship abstracts, for those who lead the poster walk about and judged poster and oral presentations, and perhaps most of all to the outstanding full and part-time faculty, staff, students, and trainees from the Schools of Medicine, Nursing and Public Health who took time from very busy schedules to attend the conference. We hope you were able to take away much valuable information to apply to your life and work here at Hopkins.
