Research Program

Genomic and proteomic analyses of chromatin structure during the yeast cell cycle

Our TCNP project involves dynamic analysis of chromatin structure during establishment of heterocromatin in yeast, and during the cell cycle. In collaboration with the Boeke, Zhu, and Cole labs we are attempting to isolate heterochromatin proteins during establishment of silencing and characterize complex interactions using a combination of protein microarrays and mass spectrometry.
