Denise Montell is a geneticist and cell and developmental biologist who studies the cellular choreography and teamwork involved in building complex tissues and organs.

Denise’s lab combines sophisticated molecular genetics with cutting-edge live cell imaging, photo-manipulation techniques, and mathematical modeling to study organ formation.

Research topics include cell movements, division, survival, differentiation, and death.
