Charitable Giving

How your gift helps the Center for Innovative Medicine

The Johns Hopkins Center for Innovative Medicine is dedicated to one simple goal: making life better for our patients, their families and the community we serve. Doctors who know their patient as a person, and partner with them in a life-long relationship. We accomplish this goal in a number of ways, beginning with how we train our residents – new doctors just starting their careers. Allowing doctors the time it takes to visit with their patient not only in the hospital, but also follow up with them in their home after discharge.

We reach that goal by recognizing and rewarding excellent physicians. We have established the first of its kind Academy for Clinical Excellence to identify and promote clinically excellent physicians. We believe our success is truly measured by the compassionate care being provided by our clinicians that is evident with high patient satisfaction surveys and lower hospital readmissions.

Private philanthropy is often the “spark” that allows us to create these novel programs that have drawn attention from across the country. Gifts to the Center for Innovative Medicine have had a major impact on our ability to expand our training and collaborative research programs. We invite your partnership as we continue this effort and expand the ways we strive to improve the lives of our patients.

Thank you for your partnership.
