The 2013 Johns Hopkins Hospital and Health System Employee Appreciation Celebration will be held Sept. 16-20. One of the many highlights of this week celebration is the service awards ceremony. As part of this event, the 2013 Baker-King Awards will be presented.
The Baker-King Foundation established a fund to recognize employees in nonexempt, nonsupervisory positions. The awards are presented to employees who have been truly outstanding in the performance of their duties and who have set an example for everyone at the hospital. Each recipient will receive $100, a Baker-King pin and citation.
Baker-King honorees are nominated by their managers and supervisors. Feel free to nominate more than one employee if you feel he or she is deserving of recognition. You can do so by visiting http://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/human_resources/news_events/employee_appreciation.html. As in the past, all nomination forms are to be signed by the employee’s supervisor. The nomination forms are to be forwarded by functional unit administrator/director to the Employee Appreciation Committee for review and selection.
Please take the time to nominate your employees for the 2013 Baker-King Awards and return your completed nomination forms no later than Friday, June 28th to Jennifer Remillard, HR Administration, by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. If you have any questions, please contact Jennifer at 443-997-3769.
Thank you for taking the time to see that your outstanding employees are getting the recognition they deserve. **Open only to JHHSC/JHH, not JHU or SOM**
