The Johns Hopkins Health System Corporation (JHHSC) and The Johns Hopkins Hospital (JHH) offer comprehensive dental coverage to all eligible full-time and part-time employees and their spouses, children and domestic partners.
Employees may choose to opt out of receiving dental coverage. Every October we offer an open enrollment period where you can switch plans, add or remove family members, or opt in or out of coverage.

About the Dental Plans
We offer two dental plan options, the Comprehensive Plan and the High Option Plan. Both plans offer a broad range of dental care services for you and your family and both allow you to choose from in-network and out-of-network dentists. You can save money under either plan when you use dentists who are in the Johns Hopkins EHP Dental network. You may elect dental coverage even if you opt out of medical coverage.
The dental plans differ in the services they provide and how much you pay out of pocket. Both plans offer you basic and preventive care services, such as cleanings, X-rays, annual check-ups and fillings. For a side-by-side plan comparison, download your Guide to Benefits.
Cost of dental coverage varies based on the plan you choose and your employment status. Download your Guide to Benefits to see pricing charts.
