Summer 2010

If you have visited Howard County General Hospital recently, you have seen a dramatic new look and probably sense a new feeling about the Hospital. The opening of the new Patient Pavilion, The Center for Wound Healing and the renovations throughout the South building make us proud. Patient satisfaction scores are rising, which demonstrates patients are pleased with the improvements at the Hospital.  

The Campus Development Plan continues to make progress as does the Capital Campaign to help fund it.  At this time, the campaign stands at $23.9 million towards a $30 million philanthropic goal. This is a record fund-raising achievement but there is still more to accomplish. 

Despite the challenge of a historic winter and the continued uneven and uncertain economy, the Howard Hospital Foundation is accelerating its efforts to ask the community for contributions to this most worthy project.
