The Howard County General Hospital Wellness Center offers hospital tours, educational programs and classes in childbirth preparation and parenting to prepare you for your baby’s arrival. There are also resources available to help you after your baby is born.

Our childbirth classes include Prenatal Class for Your Early Pregnancy, for parents-to-be in the first three months of pregnancy, and Prepared Childbirth, designed to prepare expectant couples for their labor and delivery.

The Birthing Center Tours offer expectant couples a preview of our maternity services.

We also offer parenting classes including Infant Care; Breastfeeding; Happiest Baby on the Block- a class that teaches you how to soothe a crying baby; and Adult, Child and Infant CPR.
