Inpatient Cancer Care

Our 4 South Unit offers inpatient oncology care with many amenities that make hospital stays more comfortable: in addition to the beautifully furnished private and semi-private rooms, the 29-bed unit houses two suites for family members and caregivers who want to stay with patients while they are in the hospital.

Our cancer program is accredited by the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons and HCGH is also a member of the CALGB (Cancer and Leukemia Group B), which gives oncology patients the opportunity to participate in national clinical research protocols.
