Cancer Support Groups

Care Giver’s Support Group:  First Tuesday of each month, 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. This support group, facilitated by Leslie Rogers, LCSW-C, is designed for people who are caring for a loved one with chronic illness. The group offers a safe place to air concerns and receive support. Call 410-740-5858 to register.

Breast Cancer Support Group: Third Wednesday of each month, 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. This ongoing group, facilitated by Mary M. Dowling, LCSW-C, is open to all breast cancer patients. Registration is requested. Call 410-964-9100 x5 to register.

Living with Cancer: Fourth Thursday of each month, 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Designed to meet the needs of men and women cancer patients diagnosed with Stage IV or metastatic disease and their caregivers. We offer a safe and welcoming place that provides encouragement, support and education. The support group is facilitated by Mary M. Dowling, LCSW-C. Please call 410-964-9100 x5 to register.

Knitting and Crochet Fellowship Group: Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m.to noon. This group is designed for patients and survivors. Join us for fellowship and fun. No experience necessary, instructions and directions will be provided. Call 410-740-5858 to register.

Quilting Fellowship Group: Second and fourth Tuesdays of each month, 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Designed for patients and survivors. Join us as we come together in the spirit of the old-fashioned quilting bee to share fellowship and fun. Call 410-740-5858 to register.

Together We Thrive: Second Saturday of each month, 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Patient support group for men and women diagnosed with cancer, where participants can share, explore, and be encouraged in a safe environment.  This group is also open to care givers.  Facilitated by Mary M. Dowling. Call 410-740-5858 to register.
