Surviving Survivorship: Living with Cancer Conference

Johns Hopkins Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center
 
Join us for this annual conference designed to address your unique needs as a cancer survivor or family member. Opportunities to meet other survivors, community resources and workshops will be offered on topics like communication strategies, the art of thriving, the physician’s view, yoga, hope as a spiritual practice, and legal issues. Look Good…Feel Better: This American Cancer Society program provides a free workshop by a licensed cosmetologist. Women undergoing cancer treatment learn to manage the appearance-related side effects of cancer treatment and receive a complementary bag of cosmetics. To register, call 1-888-535-4555.

Yoga for Patients, Caregivers and Survivors: Learn basic yoga movements under the leadership of an experienced, clinically trained instructor. This class is offered at the Claudia Mayer / Tina Broccolino Cancer Resource Center courtesy of Healing Point Acupuncture and Healing Arts. To register, call 410-964-9100.
