Columbia, MD –
U.S. News & World Report announced its Top Docs list for Baltimore for 2011. The online listing includes forty-four Howard County General Hospital physicians representing a wide range of specialties.
The U.S. News Top Doctors report, developed in collaboration with Castle Connolly Medical Ltd., relies upon data from Castle Connolly’s Top Doctors™. Physicians are selected based on a peer nomination process which uses data from thousands of surveys completed by doctors and health care professionals. In addition to online and mail surveys, physician-led research teams solicit input from leading specialists, clinical chairs and vice presidents of medical affairs. Finally, the research teams evaluate individual physician credentials and develop a conclusion based on a variety of factors such as medical education, training, and professional achievements.
