I enjoy working at Howard County General Hospital because it is truly a community of people: the patients, the physicians, and my fellow employees.

HCGH is the right size for me. It’s big enough to provide a wide range of patient services, and everyday I have interactions with employees from many different departments. But it’s not so big that employees feel like just a name or a job classification. The departmental functions aren’t isolated. People really help one another with the common goal of caring for our patients, and I continually see physicians and staff conferring on the best treatments and care. At HCGH, I have the opportunity every day to make a real difference in people’s lives!
