Overview
Published three times a year for alumni, faculty, parents
and friends of Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and The
Johns Hopkins Hospital, Hopkins Medicine magazine
brings readers face to face with people, issues and events
that shape one of the world's leading health care institutions.
We probe into the operating rooms, venture behind the
lab bench, poke into the lives of students and distinguished
faculty.
Who receives Hopkins Medicine?
As the alumni magazine for Johns Hopkins Medicine, Hopkins
Medicine goes to faculty, students and graduates
of The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and M.D.s who
have trained at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. Friends of
Hopkins Medicine and parents of our medical students
also receive the publication.

How can I contact doctors I read about in Hopkins
Medicine?
To make an appointment at any of our Baltimore area
locations,
call our Patient Appointment Service Line at 410-955-5464.
A representative will be happy to schedule your appointment
with
a Hopkins physician at The Johns Hopkins Hospital and
Outpatient
Center, Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center or at another
location near you. Call 410-735-HUSA (4872) for U.S. calls outside

Physicians may call the Hopkins Access Line (HAL), a consultation
and referral service offered by Johns Hopkins Medicine.
HAL's toll-free number (1-800-765-5447) is operational
24 hours a day, seven days a week, and was created in
response to the growing needs of physicians to reach Hopkins
physicians quickly. |
