Fellowship Program Information

Our mission is to train outstanding Hematologists/Oncologist and to inspire and mentor them to become independent laboratory or clinical investigators. In conjunction with the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center we offer combined Hematology/Oncology fellowship training.

Fellows may choose one of three tracks:
1) Hematology 2) Oncology or 3) Combined Hematology/Oncology.

The first year of the Hematology Fellowship is intensely clinical, with 4 weeks of vacation. The second and third years are devoted primarily to laboratory or clinical research with minimal clinical responsibility. Several of our fellows choose to dual board and perform an additional 6 months of clinical training in either Hematology or Oncology in their second year.
