EpiTool v. 1.03
A Handheld Statistical Calculator for Epidemiology
Johns Hopkins Hospital Department of Healthcare Epidemiology and Infection Control is pleased to announce the release of EpiTool v. 1.03, a tool for performing basic statistical analysis of exposure and outcomes on Palm and PalmOS-based (e.g. Handspring) handheld computers.
EpiTool features the ability to record and analyze multiple strata within a single study. Multiple studies can also be stored.
The basic version of EpiTool is available for free. Access to the advance features of EpiTool, such as creating new studies, requires registration. Detailed operation instructions are available in the download file and online.

Installation Instructions:
- Download the program and save in a convenient location.
- Locate the downloaded file and double-click the icon.
- Follow the directions for installation.
- Place PDA in cradle and initiate HotSync.

Installation Instructions:
- Download the zip file and save in a convenient location.
- Open the zip file and extract individual files to a convenient location.
- Open Palm Desktop and click on the "Install" button.
- On the window that appears, click on the "Add" button.
- Browse to the location where you extracted the files of step 2.
- Select each of the six extracted files (two .prc files and four .pdb files) and click "Open".
- When each of these six files appears in the Install window, click "Done".
- Place PDA in cradle and initiate HotSync.
