HEIC POLICIES

The Johns Hopkins Hospital Epidemiology and Infection Control Department (JHH-HEIC), with the help of many other departments, has developed infection control policies and procedures to meet the needs of this large tertiary care hospital. JHH serves a diverse, and sometimes severely ill, patient population. Some policies are uniquely tailored to the prevalence and incidence of specific diseases in our community and may not be applicable to all settings. However, adaptations of these policies could be developed for just about any health care setting.

Most of the following policies are PDFs. You will need Adobe Reader to access them. Download Adobe Reader for free now.

Be advised that many hyperlinks contained within these policies are inaccessbile outside of the Johns Hopkins computer network. If you are outside the Hopkins network, use this index, instead.
