Call 5-STIX IMMEDIATELY: STIX is the 24 hour hotline for exposures to blood-borne pathogens

The prompt treatment of injuries is vital to prevent the transmission of disease. Prophylaxis treatments can change rapidly and treatment by clinical personnel experienced and up to date in this field is of immeasurable value. Other medical conditions can impact the appropriate treatment choices. It is not possible to determine the best treatment option for an individual without a thorough review of their medical history. On the Job injuries need to be reported immediately on the "Employee Report of Incident Form." This report is necessary for initiating worker's compensation. All PEP medical care is confidential and will NEVER appear in your employment records nor is it part of your medical record.
