Influenza Pts Admitted by Age 2005-2006

Discounting sporadic cases seen early in the fall last season, this season began at about the same time as last season. However, this season we saw an early, sharp spike in cases. Within the first few weeks of this season, we saw more flu cases that we had during the entirety of last season. While this pattern is signfiicantly different than what we saw last season, it is not unusual in comparison to earlier flu seasons.
