Day of Heart Walk

New Date: Sunday, November 2

The Heart Walk is now Sunday, November 2, 2014, rain or shine, at the Camden Yards Sports Complex. Activities begin at 10:00 a.m.; the Heart Walk begins at 11:00 a.m. — one hour later than originally scheduled. Please wear your Johns Hopkins Heart Walk T-shirt!

The American Heart Walk is offering the incentives for the day of the event with more information coming soon.

Additional Information

  • For all walkers there will be a light breakfast (bagels, fruit and juice)
  • Bottled water will be on site, but we are suggesting participants bring an extra to have
  • A team photo will be taken at 10:30 a.m., location to be announced
  • Dogs are allowed (on a leash)
  • Walkers can turn in donations the morning of the walk to the American Heart Association
  • A layout of the tents and walk route will be available at www.greaterbaltimoreheartwalk.org

Parking Information

Parking will be available at the Heart Walk site—Camden Yards Sports Complex, Lots B and C.

Transportation Schedule

Free Shuttles will be running from the following locations to the Heart Walk site. No pets are allowed on buses. Please note there will not be an AHA shuttle from Port Covington/Walmart.

Johns Hopkins Outpatient Center

Pickup in the circle at JHOC

Departure: 9 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 10 a.m., 10:30 a.m.
Return: 12:30 p.m., 1 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 2 p.m.

Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center

Pickup at Asthma and Allergy Circle

Departure: 9 a.m., 9:45 a.m.
Return: 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m.

Johns Hopkins University (Charles Commons)

Pickup at 33rd and St. Paul

Departure: 9 a.m., 9:45 a.m.
Return: 12 p.m., 1 p.m.
