Dr. Jeff Bulte

Dr. Jeff Bulte

Jeff W.M. Bulte, Ph.D., is a Professor of Radiology, Oncology, Biomedical Engineering, and Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He serves as Director of Cellular Imaging in the JHU Institute for Cell Engineering. He received his PhD degree summa cum laude From the University of Groningen, The Netherlands in 1991. Dr. Bulte spent 10 years at the National Institutes of Health, first as a postdoctoral fellow and then a Staff Scientist.

He was recruited to Johns Hopkins as an Assistant Professor in 2001, became an Associate Professor in 2002, and a Full Professor in 2006. He is a fellow of the ISMRM and an Academy of Radiology Distinguished Investigator, and has published over 175 peer-reviewed articles and 30 book chapters. He specializes in molecular and cellular imaging.
