Study Short Title: MRI in Cardiac Device Patients

Study Long Title: Clinically Indicated Magnetic Resonance Imaging of Patients with Permanent Pacemakers (PPM) and Implantable Cardiac Defibrillators (ICD)

Summary of Trial:

“A” Patients with a clinical need for MRI and a pre-approved cardiac device undergo diagnostic MRI while being continuously cardiac monitored. Safety data is collected for registry.

“B” Patients who have an implanted cardiac defibrillator and who are pacemaker dependant undergo clinically indicated “brain MRI”

Inclusions:

“A” Patients who require a diagnostic MRI and whose devices have been approved for MR imaging

“B” Patient s with an implanted cardiac defibrillator who are pacemaker dependant, have been approved for MRI and who require a diagnostic MRI of the brain.

Exclusions:

Patient with capped pacemaker/defibrillator leads or devices not deemed MRI compatible
