The Johns Hopkins Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Center of Excellence provides long-term care for patients with the genetic heart condition known as hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM). HCM affects 1 in 500 people, and is frequently undiagnosed until a tragedy strikes. It is the most common cause of sudden death for young people and athletes. Our team is dedicated to HCM research and providing quality care for patients with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and their families.
From diagnostic services to HCM management, patients and their families rely on the HCM Center of Excellence. Find out more.
