In the Sheikh Zayed Tower, patient and family care
has been taken to a whole new level.
In Sheikh Zayed Tower, patients of the Johns Hopkins Heart and Vascular Institute experience care in a whole new way. Every patient has a private room, complete with its own bathroom and shower. Large windows provide natural lighting and every room has space for family members to spend the night.
Waiting rooms and family respite areas are welcoming for family members. They are larger than in the historic Johns Hopkins buildings, with more amenities, such as kitchenettes, and there are private family consult rooms for physicians to speak confidentially with family members about the care their loved-one is receiving.
