First Trimester Nuchal Translucency Screening

First trimester screening is a noninvasive screening test for fetal Down syndrome and Trisomies 13 and 18. This test is available to women between 11-4/7 and 13-6/7 weeks of pregnancy and is performed by Fetal Medicine Foundation (FMF)-accredited and Nuchal Translucency Quality Review Program (NTQR) credentialed sonographers. Prenatal genetic counseling services are also provided in conjunction with first trimester screening, if requested.
