Chemotherapy

Chemotherapy is a process where patients are given certain chemicals that are known to kill cancer cells within the body. Our doctors’ approach to chemotherapy makes the Johns Hopkins Kelly Gynecologic Oncology Service a nationally recognized treatment center for cancers of the female reproductive tract.

Excellence in chemotherapy treatment

  • Each patient is assigned to a specific infusion chemotherapy nurse who attends to them during the entire process
