Urban Health Programs Accept Strong New Trainees

The two recently established GIM-affiliated residency training programs, the Urban Health Primary Care Track and the Urban Health Medicine-Pediatrics Program, both fared very well in this year's match process and filled with strong candidates. Combined, the programs received over 160 applications and each interviewed about 40 student for four intern slots in each.  A Hopkins medical student matched in each program as well, suggesting an increase in interest in primary care right here at home.

Kudos and thanks to the program directors, GIM Faculty members Dr. Lenny Feldman and Dr. Rosalyn Stewart, and indeed to many of the contributing faculty in GIM and General Peds, for building strong Primary Care training programs!
