In a message acknowledging major grants and honors, Department of Medicine Chair, Myron Weisfeldt, MD, announced that GIM Associate Professor Ebony Boulware, MD, MPH was recognized at a May dinner by JHU's President Daniels for significant and exceptional work related to urban issues in Baltimore.
Dr. Boulware was awarded for her work focusing on the social determinants of chronic renal disease. The full name of the award is the "President's Research Recognition Award of the Johns Hopkins Urban Health Institute."
