GIM first-year Fellow Lauren Block, MD, has been notified that she will receive a MPH Capstone Award for outstanding achievement from the Bloomberg School of Public Health for her project entitled "Does Providing Access to Specialty Care to an Uninsured Population Reduce ED Utilization?” She will be recognized and awarded with a plaque on Saturday, May 12, 2012, during a 1:00 luncheon in Feinstone Hall in the Bloomberg School or Public Health building. The event is part of the Capstone Symposium to be held that day. Dr. Block's capstone advisor is Dr. Sai Ma, and her academic advisor is GIM's Dr. Jessica Yeh.
