GIM's Associate Director Jeanne Clark, MD, MPH, has won the 2012 School of Medicine Vice Dean's Award for the Advancement of Women Faculty. She is recognized for her work as Chair of the Department of Medicine's Women's Task Force, as a role model for women residents fellows and junior faculty. She is also noted as a supportive and successful mentor of women graduate students and young investigators. She is widely admired for her for her leadership capabilities.

The Office of Women in Science and Medicine will present Dr. Clark with the award at a ceremony to be held on Wednesday, June 6th, in the Chevy Chase Auditorium of the new Sheik Zayed Building.
