GIM’s April Fitzgerald, MD, has been chosen as the new editor of the ACLGIM Leadership Forum published by the Association of Chiefs and Leaders of General Internal Medicine. The quarterly publication was founded in 2008, and Dr. Fitzgerald has served as the publication’s Associate Editor since its inception. Medical leadership and leadership skills training are among Dr. Fitzgerald’s central professional interests.
ACLGIM Leadership Forum states its aim as “addressing issues of leadership in medicine” and includes articles “by different levels of leaders in the field.” Stimulation from the ACLGIM Leadership Forum is not limited to quarterly paper publication, however. The quarterly’s website features one of the articles each month and encourages readers to comment—truly creating a forum.
Congratulations to Dr. Fitzgerald on assuming this leadership post!
