Dr. Eric Seifter, a member of the GIM part-time faculty, was awarded the Osler Housestaff Teaching Award on May 22, 2009. The award is given by the Osler Housestaff “in recognition of outstanding contribution to housestaff teaching by a member of the part-time faculty of the Department of Medicine of the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions. This is the third time Dr. Seifter has been recognized in this way. He also received Osler Housestaff Teaching awards in 1990 and in 2001. When not sharing his expertise with the housestaff, Dr. Seifter is a physician at Park Medical Associates.
