Dr. Hill-Briggs Awarded NHLBI Grant

GIM faculty member Felicia Hill-Briggs. PhD, has been awarded an R01 grant by the NIH/National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute to conduct a "Randomized Trial of CVD Education and Problem-Solving Training in Urban Diabetics." The grant will fund her research project for the next four years. The study combines two of Dr. Hill-Briggs major research interests, chronic disease self-management and minority health.
