The poster presented by GIM Hospitalist Leonard Feldman, MD, was chosen as the winning Innovations entry at the Society of Hospital Medicine’s Annual Meeting in Chicago last week. Dr. Feldman’s poster, titled “An Internet-Based Consult Curriculum for Hospitalists,” impressed the judges of the Society’s Research, Innovations and Clinical Vignettes Competition, held annually at the Society’s general meeting. More than 400 abstracts were submitted to the competition this year, of which 222 were chosen for presentation in poster format.
Dr. Feldman’s award reflects the spirit of innovation he brings to GIM’s Hospitalist Program, where he serves as both Director of Hospitalist Education Programs and Director of the General Medicine Consult Service. In addition, he is the associate program director of the Osler Medical Training Program.
Congratulations to Dr. Feldman on winning this award for innovation in hospital medicine!
