SOM Adopts New Policy on Interaction with Industry

In a letter distributed April 30^th, Dean of Medicine Edward Miller, MD, announced a new policy “designed to reorient the way we work with pharmaceutical and medical devices industries to support independent decision-making and transparency.” The changes limit some interactions with commercial entities and clarify the terms of permitted collaborations. The policy will take effect on July 1, 2009.
