New JHM Policy on Industry Ties

A JHM press release issued yesterday announces a new policy “that significantly limits interactions with industry while ensuring effective, principled and appropriate partnerships with drug and medical device makers." The new policy seeks to strengthen and clarify previous policy statements on this topic. The new statement, titled the Johns Hopkins Medicine Policy on Interaction with Industry, will take effect on July 1st of this year.
