Pauline Chen, MD, has authored an essay that appeared in the health section of the New York Times web-edition on Friday, January 30, 2009, titled, "The Hidden Curriculum of Medical School." She calls attention to the power of instructors as role models in shaping medical students' attitudes toward their work. Dr. Chen is a featured speaker on the topic at the upcoming AAMC Council of Academic Societies Spring Meeting in Charleston, SC in March. |
