GIM's Dr. Joseph Finkelstein Joins Welch Center

GIM full-time faculty member Joseph Finkelstein, MD, PhD, MA, has received a joint appointment to the Core Faculty of the Welch Center for Prevention, Epidemiology and Clinical Research. Dr.Finkelstein was recruited to GIM in April of 2008. He directs GIM's Chronic Disease Informatics Program as well as the Informatics Sub-core of the Diabetes Prevention and Control Core. Dr. Finkelstein leads in AHRQ-funded project to systematically review the scholarly literature on the use of informatics in patient-centered medical care.
