Second-year GIM Fellow Nadine Chen, MD, has already had her first journal article published. Dr. Chen’s article entitled “Predictors of HIV Testing among Latinos in Baltimore City” appeared online October 15th in the Journal of Immigrant and Minority Health, a Springer publication. In addition, GIM’s Dr. Hsin-Chieh Jessica Yeh is one of the report’s three co-authors.
The publication reflects Dr. Chen’s interests in HIV prevention and in healthcare disparities for immigrant and refugee populations. Before entering the GIM Fellowship last year, Dr. Chen earned her medical degree at the University of California at Davis, and completed her residency at Yale University.
