Awards for Hopkins GIM Members at SGIM Annual Meeting

On April 10, 2008, at the Society of General Internal Medicine annual meeting in Pittsburgh, PA, Hopkins GIM Fellowship alumna Darcy Reed, MD, was announced as the winner of the SGIM Award for Excellence in Medical Education Research. Dr. Reed is now an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Department of Primary Care Internal Medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. At the same time, Joseph Carrese, MD, MPH of Hopkins Bayview GIM also won an Education Award.
