Dr. Prokopowicz Elected to Alpha Omega Alpha

Congratulations to GIM faculty member, Dr. Greg Prokopowicz, who has been elected to the Johns Hopkins Chapter of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. Colleagues who nominated Dr. Prokopowicz for membership cited his outstanding skills and knowledge, his dedication to teaching and patient care, and his integrity.

Alpha Omega Alpha, commonly referred to as A?A, can be thought of as the “Phi Beta Kappa for medical schools.” As the only national honor medical society, its mission, developed over the past one hundred years, has been to recognize and enhance professionalism, academic excellence, service, and leadership within the profession.
