GIM faculty member Felicia Hill-Briggs, PhD, has been promoted to Associate Professor of Medicine based on her important contributions as a clinical psychologist and researcher in behavioral medicine to the study of chronic disease self-management, particularly with regard to diabetes management in vulnerable and minority patients. She has carved out new conceptual frontiers in helping patients manage their disease and is testing them rigorously. Dr. Hill-Briggs is also a member of the core faculty of the Welch Center for prevention, Epidemiology and Clinical Research and of the Department of Health, Behavior and Society in the JHU Bloomberg School of Public Health. | ![]() |
