Dr. Lisa Cooper Named Exceptional Reviewer
GIM faculty member Dr. Lisa Cooper has been awarded the distinction of "Exceptional Reviwer" for 2006-2007 by the editors of the journal Medical Care. Only about the top 5% of the journal's peer reviewers are recognized in this way. The basis of this recognition is the quality, timeliness and number of their reviews. The Institute of Scientific Information ranks Medical Care among the top journals in the field of health care sciences and services. The journal appreciates the important role played by peer reviewers in the realm of scholarly publication, and recognizes the best among them with the Exceptional Reviewer designation. Readers of Medical Care will find Dr. Cooper’s name in the list of these honorees in the June 2008 issue. |  |
